Fabiani is one of South Africa’s leading menswear brands and for good reason – it effortlessly keeps up with the times, offering customers a sleek, cool and sophisticated look through generations.
Although it initially specialised in menswear, the Fabiani fashion brand offers high-quality and unique designs for both men and women. The Fabiani brand competes with products like Hugo Boss but offers customers in South Africa something that can truly represent their individuality and South African sensibility. The store also sells other leading brands such as HappySock and G-Star Raw.
Fabiani’s look is inspired by Italian design and tailoring and uses bold colours with a particular attention to fabrication and detailing. It’s seasonal collection blends wardrobe essentials with a touch of flair through colour and textures to produce a style that is versatile, quirky and sophisticated.
Fabiani also sells a wide range of fragrances, underwear and jewellery – everything you need to complete the perfect look. Its accessories range includes scarves, headwear and ties.
Fabiani has stores in many major shopping centres in major metropolitan cities across South Africa. Shopping in a Fabiani store is an experience, from the arrangement of merchandise and the brand’s fragrance wafting through the air to the classic design of the room.
Fabiani is a South African company that was established by Italian descendant, Jeff Fabian in 1978 to provide customers with high quality design, fabrics and attention to detail. The company initially made suits for men and later added a luxurious approach to casual wear, shoes and accessories.
Fabiani was purchased by Foschini in 2011, a company that adequately matches its sophisticated and chic style and operates under the Foshini-owned chain, Markham. Jeff’s son Arie Fabian is now the Brand Director and continues to ensure Fabiani’s success in in the fashion retail market. Arie brings his quirky style and great eye for interesting combinations and upcoming trends to the brand. Arie believes in keeping a finger on the pulse and ensuring that he knows what his customers need.
Fabiani’s runs a social responsibility initiative called the ‘Last Red Buttonhole Project’ which donates a percentage of profits from its shirts to the Children’s Hospital Trust which raises funds for the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, one of the largest paediatric hospitals in Africa.
The company has donated R100 000 towards a new paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at the hospital which is a charity close to Arie’s heart.
