@Home is a retailer selling contemporary homeware and decor.
@Home is part of The Foschini Group Limited (TFG Limited), one of the largest retail groups in South Africa, which has a history dating back to 1924. TFG operates over 2,200 stores across 22 fashion, cosmetics, jewellery, sporting and outdoor apparel, as well as homeware brand categories. The group has a further 1,000 stores globally.
@Home is a premium homeware retailer that opened its first store in May 2001. The retail stores are split into two brands, namely @home that focuses on a contemporary product range mainly for equipping and decorating homes, and the larger @homelivingspace store format, which was launched in 2005 and extended the store’s range to include lounge, dining, and bedroom furniture, in addition to decorative homeware. As of March 2016, there were 89 @home and 26 @homelivingspace stores serving a target market of upper-income consumers across South Africa. The @home online store was launched in 2014, making it the first of TFG Limited’s brands to have an e-commerce platform. @Home has been headed by Shani Naidoo since 2013.
In 2016, @home contributed 6.5% to The Foschini Group’s turnover.
